CALYPSO 1965

4 Years ago Calypso was not in a good shape, almost sinking in Bocas del Toro (btw you guys should go there once) but mi Capitan Sebas, mon frère has decides to change the destiny of this sexy and unique-looking ship.

So after few years of work to make it livable and seaworty, it was time. The first time for calypso since her new life, to sail and dance for the first time out of Bocas.

The plan was simple :

Go to colombia, bring Calypso and us there.

Sail the all carribean cost of Panama.

And when people ask : Who are you ? CREWDOS.

Whats your boat ? 40 foot choi lee from 1965.

During those 2 month we were challenge by squall, days without wind, storm.

But know what ? I like challenge so, i turn on the pirate mode with the idea to shrap my skills.

We learned how to live simply, from the daily quest of collecting water, to go spear fish to have dinner and making our own beer/champagn with fruits skin (CHICHA/GUARAPO).

We meet so much nice people, nice friend, nice familly sharing knowledge and culture.

We explore so many cool place. Isolated islands, rarely visited by humans. In this magical setting of the Caribbean wildlife we were surronded by water sand and coconut, far from civilisation.
